The Mod Pop Pattern Winner... its ME!

I have a huge smile on my face.

I've been on a bit of a roll recently.  I won Sue Bone's summer reads book giveaway and then a fantastic pre-cuts book from The Sewing Directory too.  Both of those prizes are brilliant and I am super chuffed with them.

To top it all off, the very talented and lovely Jennifer from Knotted Thread blog contacted me to let me know that I had won her giveaway for the {not yet released} Mod Pop Quilt Pattern by Julie Avant of Distant Pickles greatness.

It's currently in the testing phase but just take a look at these.

I really can't wait to get this pattern in my sticky mitts.  I am already itching to get started and I know that I will probably be daydreaming about what fabrics to use for the next few days.

I would really love it to have this sort of vibe about it.  This is the quilt that I lust over most at the moment.

Any thoughts/fabric colour opinions/tips/ramblings about how I might merge the two will be very gratefully received.

  1. Lucky you! These are lovely - I especially like the first one and the last one. I always seem to like quilts that have bright colours broken up by white or a neutral. Can't wait to see what ideas you come up with x

  2. Congrats on all the wins. No idea what you should do as all the quilts shown look so good. Whatever you come up with will be equally as lovely.

  3. Better buy a lottery ticket for tomorrow! Have fun when you get the pattern :o)

  4. Congratulations! I hope you've bought a lottery ticket while you're on a roll!

  5. I'm glad you like my quilt and you will like Julie's pattern, I sure do.

  6. Well done, you must be on a winning streak! I am liking this collection a lot, see what you think...

  7. Wow, lucky you, Liz! Congrats on all these awesome prizes! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with! And don't combine them, make them both ;o)))

  8. Congrats on your win and what a great win! Love Leanne`s interpretation especially.

  9. well done you. I really like the red/green one (#3 I think). can't wait to see what you do with the pattern

I can't tell you how much I love a comment. It makes me smile one huge great big smile.
